House with Green roof

Located on the island of Sentosa in Singapore, the Guz Architects Meera House tries its best to break down the volume into human scale spaces with interaction with gardens and greenery at all levels.

“The plots are not large and neighboring buildings are built close to the sides of each house. Rolling green rooftop gardens grow burgeoning grasses that expand the property’s lawns from each stacked floor. Thus The Guz Architect’s strategy was to build a solid wall to each side neighbor to provide privacy where possible, while creating a central light and stair well which would funnel the sea breeze through the center of the building.”

  1. This house looks awesome. I would like to see one in person one day.. and maybe have one of my own!

  2. This is stunning. I would love to build something like this. There have to be a lot of energy savings involved and it sure helps with keeping things green. Thanks
