St James is one of Cape Town’s smaller suburbs, yet it has a rich history. St James Beach is one of the smaller beaches along the False Bay coastline. The colourful beach huts and the large tidal pool are a trademark of St James. The beach area is not that big but there are rock pools on either side of the tidal pool that allow you to spread out and explore. This beach is great for everyone but has particular appeal to kids with a sense of adventure. The tidal pool is calmer and warmer than the sea making for very pleasant bathing conditions.
